Job Title: Home Care Assistant

Brief Summary of Responsibilities

• To look after the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of the Clients using a client-centred approach
• To observe and promote the Client’s choice, independence, dignity, privacy, fulfilment and other rights
• To create and maintain good professional relationships with Clients, their family and friends
• To actively support other Care Workers
• To adhere to all regulatory and statutory obligations and Cwtch Care Ltd policies, procedures and guidelines.

Experience
• Experience of providing high standards of care provision
• Experience of meeting the needs and support of Clients
• Must have Full Driving Licence
• Must be flexible and available to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Personal Specification

Education/Training
• Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent e.g. NVQ2) or working towards qualification. Desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

To ensure the safety of our clients/members a DBS check (formally CRB) must be completed for all positions. A criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position at Cwtch Care Ltd.
